Learn to Read. Read to Learn.

Reading is an essential ingredient to a happy and successful life.

Children who can read well, will learn quicker, are more confident and positive about the world around them.

English equals increased career opportunities.

English is a prerequisite for more university degrees than any other subject. It is the only compulsory subject in VCE and your children's results automatically count as one of the top four subjects.

We need English to learn any other subject. (We don't need history or math's to learn English).

Is your child falling behind in reading and English?

There are many factors that can contribute to a poor performance in reading and English. Below are some of the most common challenges your child faces at school.

Teachers moving at their own pace = Kids are left behind or bored
Oversized classrooms = Not enough individual attention
1 teacher + 25 different learning styles = Few kids are learning
Classroom distractions = Kids can’t focus, no understanding
Students not asking for help because they're embarrassed = No help
Parents often cannot help due to changed teaching methods, time restrictions = Frustration
Children missing / changing school = Missing concepts
