Who is behind the Phonica research based reading solution?

Phonica has been developed over a 25 year period. It is 100 percent Australian owned and developed by leading experts, teachers and educational psychologists. Dr Norman Swan (MBChB, MRCP, DCH, FRCP) and Dr Jeffrey Tobias (BSc PhD) are the principals behind Reading Systems, the company who developed Phonica.

Dr Swan was trained in paediatrics, has an international reputation as a health broadcaster with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Dr Tobias has a PhD in computer science and a strong track record in the development and marketing of educational software.
